Support Local Healthcare

Help Our Community By Donating To FGH

Your generosity helps Franklin General Hospital continue providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare for patients and families throughout Hampton and the surrounding North Iowa communities. Donations support important programs, services, technology, patient care initiatives, and community health efforts that make a meaningful impact close to home. Every contribution, large or small, helps strengthen local healthcare and supports our mission of caring for the communities we serve.

The FGH Foundation was formed in 1992 “to receive charitable gifts and to disburse funds for the maintenance and improvement of health care in the area.” Since that time, generous donors to the FGH Foundation have given over $4 million. Giving includes not only capital campaigns and bequests from planned gifts, but also annual fund giving, memorials and restricted giving for specific purposes. Some of the larger recent purchases made possible by donations to the FGH Foundation include the 3D Mammography machine, monitor/defibrillators for the FGH ambulances and a van for transporting FGH patients. Many gifts to the FGH Foundation go into the general fund and are used for projects and equipment purchases that arise throughout the year that improve the care FGH provides our consumers.

Gifts may also be designated for use in a specific area such as the nursing facility or the emergency department. Checks, made payable to the FGH Foundation, may be sent to:
